Purpose of collecting data
2-Controlware collects personal data for a number of purposes:
- Newsletters
Once you have registered, 2-Controlware will send you a newsletter via e-mail no more than once a month. The newsletters have both a commercial and knowledge sharing note. Your first name and e-mail address will be collected using the contact form on our website. - Contacting us
The data you fill in a contact form will be stored and only used for the specific purpose of the contact form: a contact request, demo request or download. We only ask for your name, company name and e-mail address. - Mapping website visits
We use cookies to track the website traffic on 2-Controlware.com. This gives us insight into how visitors enter our website, how often web pages are visited and where visitors spend most of their time. We use Google Analytics for tracking our website traffic.
The registration of the website traffic is based on IP. Google has no permission to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.
We register and analyse our website traffic in order to continuously optimize our website. - Other cookies
For the proper functioning of the website we use functional cookies. This way the website will be offered in the right way and language.
In order to constantly provide you with relevant information, we use tracking cookies. Based on tracking cookies, we display appropriate advertisements for you via Google AdWords and third party (social media) websites. - Update your cookie settings

If you don’t want us to store cookies in your browser, you can change your browser settings. You can adjust the settings in such a way that your browser rejects all cookies or only cookies from third parties. Please note that the settings for each browser must be changed separately.
Data recipients
The data that 2-Controlware receives and processes is managed through:
- Mailchimp
Newsletters are sent using Mailchimp. When you sign up for the newsletter, your e-mail address and full name will automatically be saved to a list in Mailchimp. - Microsoft Office 365
We make use of Microsoft Office 365. The e-mail of 2-Controlware is hosted by Microsoft. - iXL hosting
The website and backups of our website are hosted by iXL Hosting. Data you submit on the 2-Controlware website is stored on our servers. To send contact details from our website we use an SMTP relay service from Postmark. Postmark saves the contact information and stores these for 45 days.
Data storage period
- Sending newsletters
Your e-mail address and full name will be saved in Mailchimp. The storage of your details is for an indefinite period of time. You can unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of our newsletters at any time or by sending an e-mail to info @ 2-Controlware.com. - Contact us
When you contact 2-Controlware via e-mail or via the contact form on the website, the details you submit will be stored on the mail server. The details are stored for 45 days via our SMTP relay service, Postmark. - Application data
2-Controlware will delete your application data no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application process. - Analytics
The information Analytics collects will be stored for 26 months within Google Analytics.
Security
There will be no physical copies made of your personal data. Your data will only be managed in the above-mentioned systems and software. The personal details managed by 2-Controlware or by the aforementioned third parties can only be accessed via the above software and are protected by a password which we store in encrypted form.
Your visit to our website is secured by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to our website is private. You can recognise this security by the lock in front of the URL and the https connection.
Your rights
- Right to inspect
You have the right to request the saved and stored data at 2-Controlware at any time. You can do this by sending an e-mail or by contacting 2-Controlware by phone. You will receive an overview of your details. - Right of rectification
Is your data incorrect? Or is your personal data changed? You have the right to have this rectified by 2-Controlware. You can modify your information about the newsletter using the appropriate url at the bottom of each newsletter. - Right to remove your data
Don’t you want your data to be stored by 2-Controlware any longer? In that case, you have the right to have your data deleted. - Right to stop data usage
Don’t you want 2-Controlware to use your personal data? You have the right to stop the use of your personal details.
Obligations
2-Controlware processes personal data based on a legitimate interest, i.e. a commercial interest. Think of offering services or products from 2-Controlware via e-mail. Your data will never be shared or sold to third parties.
The required personal data are the minimum necessary details we need to offer our services or products. For example, your e-mail address is required to send the newsletter. If these required details are not provided, 2-Controlware will not be able to offer our service.
Should it be necessary to share your personal data with parties other than those mentioned above (e.g. for offering of a service), we will first ask permission for this.
2-Controlware reserves the right to disclose the data when required by law or when 2-Controlware deems it justified to comply with a legal request/process or to protect the rights, property or safety of 2-Controlware. In doing so, we always try to respect your right to privacy as much as possible.
