New release Compliance apps for Microsoft 365 Business Central

We are continuously working to improve our authorization software for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central. We are proud to announce that a large number of improvements have gone live with the new version 2.2.20211019.0 for the Compliance Essentials, Compliance Field Security and Compliance Field Validation extensions. All apps are now compatible with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Wave 2 2021 (BC19).
New in the release is that within filter security you can use calculated filters based on the logged in user. With a calculated filter you can, among other things, set up that a user can only see or edit his own data. It is possible to filter on system variable user ID, user security ID and current company, on a date formula, for example -CW..CW for the current week, and on the logged-in user via Table 91 (User Setup) and Table 156 (Resource).
Within field validation, the check has been extended within dimensions to include a check for dimension combinations. Previously, it only checked if the dimension was filled and with what value, now it also checks if the combination is allowed and if so with which combinations. When a combination is restricted or blocked, you will get an error message or a warning when, for example, you create or change a customer.
