Upgrading to 365 Business Central: the consequences for your authorization system

Change 2-Control licenses

If you are using (one of) the 2-Controlware modules, then your 2-Control license model changes when you upgrade from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365.

From on-premises to cloud

When you upgrade from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365, the use of the on-premises 2-Controlware modules will be discontinued and you will switch to cloud application Authorization Box and Compliance Apps. An explanation of the migration of licenses is shown below:

Instead of the annual maintenance costs you pay an annual subscription amount. With the switch to our products for 365BC you have all extensive and sustainable functionality at your disposal. To accommodate you as a loyal customer, we offer the switch based on 4 years. This gives you a 3-year discount.

If you already have the licenses for the add-ons of 2-Control B.V., we will offer you the apps and Authorization Box via a transitional arrangement. From year 4 you pay the regular subscription.

Impact authorization system

The migration to 365BC also has an impact on the quality of your authorization system. Due to changes in menus and tables, we advise to monitor the quality of your authorizations and restore the quality if necessary.
